Squidgies in association with Sportsfish Tournament Circuits (STC) announce the 2008 - 2009:

The Series is a entry level tournament for those anglers wishing to progress from the Socials and try their skills in a tournament environment. Seasoned anglers are also welcome to participate in these one day events. They are a relaxed affair with no prefish bans and competitors may register before the day, or on the morning itself.

This is a Team based tournament series. Anglers will be fishing together as a team to gather the five bag limit.

Each team is made up of two competitors. During the series, a team may make as many substitutions throughout the course, but in every qualifying round AT LEAST ONE ORIGINAL MEMBER must fish. Whole team changes will not be permitted.

The original team is defined in the first entry form received by tournament directors.

The Squidgie Bream Challenge is 7 Bream Tournaments each held over a single day. The series will be 7 events run at different waterways in the Sydney area as well as Lake Macquarie, with the Grand Final held on Sydney Harbour.

The Squidgie Bream Challenge has been launched as an easily accessible competition that would fit in between the many free bream spinning Social Days and the larger Pro Tournaments.

All rounds have cash prizes to 3rd place plus points towards the Grand Final.
